Tank Supply Corporation has developed an efficient, economical in-line strainer especially for sugar system fill lines as recommended by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) and the Department of Agriculture.
It features a 12 inch long schedule 40 stainless steel housing with 3 inch or 4 inch NPT hook-up. The insert strainer is a heavy 24 gauge 304 stainless steel with 3/64 inch holes for light sweeteners and 3/16 inch holes for corn syrup. The shape of the cone strainer with the hole size, will have little to no effect on the off-loading of the sweetener to your storage. The cone strainer is removable for viewing and cleaning. This unit will afford protection against intrusion of foreign particles and complete with an aluminum locking caps.
